Lobby & Entrance Monitoring
Maintain awareness of people entering, leaving, and moving through designated reception, lobby, and entrance areas.
Professional Concierge Security
Professional concierge security personnel providing a visible, welcoming presence while helping monitor access, support visitors, and maintain awareness throughout your property.
CITIPRO Security provides concierge and front-desk security personnel for properties that need both security awareness and professional visitor interaction. Officers maintain a visible presence in lobbies, entrances, reception areas, and other customer-facing spaces while supporting established access and security procedures.
Unlike a traditional receptionist, the concierge officer's primary responsibility remains security—while operating appropriately around employees, residents, visitors, vendors, and guests.
Maintain awareness of people entering, leaving, and moving through designated reception, lobby, and entrance areas.
Help visitors navigate the property, understand established check-in procedures, and reach the appropriate destination or property contact.
Follow established procedures for authorized access, visitor credentials, restricted areas, and other building-entry requirements defined for the assignment.
Support established procedures for vendors, contractors, deliveries, and other non-routine visitors entering or accessing the property.
Recognize unusual conditions or activity, follow site procedures, and notify the appropriate property representative or emergency service when required.
Document significant security activity, incidents, visitor-related concerns, notifications, actions taken, and conditions that may require property-management follow-up.
Concierge security works best when neither side of the role is ignored. The officer must remain security-conscious while representing the property professionally to employees, residents, visitors, vendors, customers, and others using the space.
The role is not to turn a security officer into a receptionist. It is to provide a security-focused professional who can operate appropriately in a customer-facing environment.
Review entrances, lobby activity, visitor flow, operating hours, access points, and security concerns.
Establish visitor procedures, access responsibilities, restricted areas, property contacts, escalation instructions, and reporting expectations.
Prepare the assigned officer to understand the environment, procedures, responsibilities, contacts, and expectations of the post.
Document significant activity, communicate issues through established procedures, and adjust the assignment when requirements change.
Concierge security is particularly useful in properties where security personnel regularly interact with employees, residents, visitors, vendors, customers, or guests.

Both roles may operate at the front desk, but their primary responsibilities are different.
Security-Focused Role
Administrative Role
When a security concern, access issue, unusual condition, or significant visitor-related event occurs, the appropriate property contact should have a clear record of what was observed and what action was taken.
